HUANGLONG (20/08/14):
- Location: Within Songpan County, in the northwest part of Sichuan Province.
- Estimated Area: 1830 km2
- Altitude: between 1700m and 5588m.
- UNESCO World Heritage Site (1992).

JIUZHAIGOU (21/08/14):
- Jiuzhaigou is a nature reserve and national park located in the north of Sichuan province, China.
- Jiuzhaigou Valley stretches over 72,000 hectares (180,000 acres) and covers altitudes ranging from 2,000 meters (6,561 feet) to about 4,300 meters (14,107 feet).
- This national reserve comprises large number of lakes, waterfalls and rich variety of endangered plants.
- UNESCO World Heritage Site (1992).
Nuorilang Waterfall is 32m wide and 25m tall, and it is the widest waterfall in Jiuzhaigou.
Five Colour Pond (Wucai Chi) is one of the smallest bodies of water in Jiuzhaigon lakes. Despite its modest size, it has a richly colored underwater landscape with some of the brightest and clearest waters in the area.


Five Flower Lake has a bottom landscape that is criss-crossed with ancient fallen tree trunks.
Pearl Shoal is 310m wide and 28m tall. A scene of the television adaptation of Journey to the West was filmed here.

HUANGLONGXI (23/08/14):
- Huanglongxi is an ancient town with a history of more than 1,700 years.
- Situated in Shuangliu County, 30 kilometers southeast from Chengdu.
